BE A SPORT! HELP US BEAT PROSTATE CANCER: 2015 DISTINGUISHED GENTLEMAN’S RIDE
On Sunday the 27th of September, I am going to don my finest threads and motor along in the 2015 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride to help find a cure for prostate cancer. Why? Because over 1,300 men a day die of prostate cancer worldwide, and that’s something we aim to stop. Your donation will help The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride reach its goal of $US3 million to fund research into a cure for a disease that claims far too many gentlemen each and every year.
Cancer hits home with me becasue I have had it two times in the last 13 years. I didn't have prostate cancer, but I had Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, stage 4B the first time, then 3 years ago it came back as a tumor in my spinal canal. It pinched my nerves so bad I couldnt walk. I went through chemotherapy, full body radiation and did a stem cell transplant. My nerves have permanent damage and each year is is getting harder for me to ride my motorcycles a long distance. I am still doing a little bit of road racing and racing in the dirt becuase I just cant stay off bikes!
I wouldnt wish any form of cancer on my worst ememy so any way I can help try and find cures or help anything along to do with cancer, I am down! Last year I came in 3rd place for rasiing the most money in Los Angeles, help me get to first place this year!!
So get involved in the best dressed way to battle prostate cancer and sponsor my ride — cheers and thank you!
