Shop repair update!

While our building shares a five-unit stretch with a complete roof replacement underway, our unit took the hardest hit. On May 4th, 2026, I was working late when the rain started around 8:00 PM. With daylight clearly visible through the bare wood of the roof earlier that day, I knew we were in trouble. I called management right away, who passed the word to the roofers. The roofing owner called me back and casually told me not to worry—he'd handle it tomorrow.

Unfortunately a freak rainstorm hit in the middle of the night, essentially flooding our shop. We suffered extensive damage: about an inch of standing water throughout the downstairs and ruined equipment, including computers, cameras, plotters, a 3D printer, security systems, our powder coating oven, and our air compressor.

Despite getting computers running by the next day to keep processing and shipping orders, operating under these conditions has been a constant battle. It took a month and a half just to get the shop back to 75%, and we were ultimately left to finish the remaining cleanup, restore our collectibles and antiques, and put equipment back in working order on our own. To this day, we are still trying to recover 15 years of files from a damaged laptop, and lingering physical damage remains.

While we did receive partial compensation from the roofer to purchase a new compressor and oven, a complete recovery requires a full reset—emptying the space, cleaning, organizing, fixing damaged parts, and finishing the construction work. We have held on and pushed through as long as we could, but it is finally time to get it done right.

What This Means for Current and New Orders:

  • Current Orders: I am personally completing and working on all orders currently in progress.

  • New Orders: All new orders will be paused temporarily so the crew can finish the final repairs and get us completely dialed back in.

  • Reopening Date: We will resume full operations and begin accepting new orders on October 26th.

We are truly sorry for this temporary pause, but it is a necessary step to ensure we can operate at our absolute full capacity moving forward.

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support!
