The voltage set point is 14V +/- .2. Please contact the manufacturer of your Lithium Ion Battery to ensure our product has the correct set point for their product. ***Rick's Motorsport Electrics One Year Product Warranty is for the Rec-Reg only. Rick's warranty does not cover batteries of any type.

Notes:

-Kit not for use on bike with lowered suspension.

- ***Bonneville owners*** Two up riding is not recommended as the stock shocks are lower on Bonneville's than the Thruxton or Scrambler. We suggest upgrading to shocks off these models or going with taller aftermarket shocks for two up riding as clearance between the wheel and box becomes crucial in this situation. We cannot be held responsible for damage that will occur if this is ignored.

-Kit requires removal of the side stand switch. The only wiring modification required is looping the side stand kill switch to trick the bike into thinking the kickstand is up, this allows the starter to start your bike. Its 2 wires that need to be cut and connected together on the wiring harness and is very simple to do. You can also put a jumper wire into the stock plug on the wiring harness if cutting wires is not for you.

- Fuel injected models must unwrap the electrical tape and extend the connector for the engine speed sensor. This is easy to do and electrical tape should be re applied when finished to protect the loom.

Average install time for any competent mechanic should be under 3 hours start to finish.

Kit does not come with any rear brake light or turn signals or license plate brackets(these get eliminated with the fender once it is removed). With so many options available on the market we leave this up to you and your personal taste.

Many option available in our online store.

Usually ships in 3-5 days

Revision to the above review

After re-reading the product details it does explain a lot more of what to expect than I initially realized so I have to revise my previous review post. This Bonneville upgrade is by far the coolest mod I’ve found for battery box delete kits for its design but it may take a little bit more think work and time to install. I have to say overall it was really fun to install and the outcome is magnificent. The only issue I have not been able to overcome now is how to install the crankcase breather filter as the breather hose inner diameter is just a little too large to hold snug the filter. I am going to try a steel adjustable hose clamp to see if that holds. Other than that and the price of the overall project (with rectifier, battery, tail lamp bracket, and filters) the upgrade was well worth it. And a must have stage one upgrade if you are going to add other performance mods down the road.
